What cleaning rod practise you use on your 300 Blackout and why?

I'm curious to know what cleaning rods people are using to make clean the barrel of their 300 Blackout AR platform. There seems to be a lot of unlike styles and compositions of cleaning rods - steel, contumely, wood and even carbon fiber. What does everyone use and why?

You know, I never fifty-fifty thought nearly doing information technology that way. That seems like an ideal solution! Thank you!

x2 for the bore snake. I use one for all my guns. I don't bother oiling my barrel since its stainless. For the guns I do oil the butt, I just add oil to the section of the diameter snake just before the brush, and then it does it in i stroke.

Boresnakes! I dear them and then much I even have them for calibers I don't own.

No affair what you read on the intarweb CCI450s and CCI41s ARE NOT BALLISTICALLY IDENTICAL with H110! I'm also not a intarweb lawyer then I don't argue with anyone who is.

Dewey rods but I'm really thinking of trying a diameter snake. Anybody seems to love them.

Diameter snakes are great for a quick cleaning with some CLP.

For more than in depth cleaning(heavy carbon removal, copper removal, etc...) a dewey(or tipton) rod and a bore guide that seals everything up and allows your cleaning solution of selection to soak(if necessary) is the fashion to get.

I use the Tipton carbin fiber rod for all my rifles. I do employ bore snakes for the range. I similar the Tipton because the are strong & wont damage the barrel.

I apply the bore ophidian nigh of the fourth dimension. Quick and easy. Accept one for every caliber rifle I ain. Accept a Dewey rod that I apply sometimes. For easy deep cleaning, I merely use CLP Bore Cleaning Foam. That Foam is awesome confronting copper fouling.

I repeat the sentiments of using the Boresnake already stated. You can't beat them, and they aren't to big an investment to accept for all your calibers.
